1. To introduce the important concepts and analytical tools in the field of biochemical engineering

課程目標 |
1. be familiar with the general properties of important biomolecules
2. understand the functions of biomolecules by a number of examples 3. be familiar with different forms/types of tissues and cells (microbial, animal, and plant cells) 4. be acquainted with important separation/purification methods and steps in the field of biochemical engineering 5. understand the concepts and applications of genetic engineering 6. be acquainted with various types of bioreactors and their features and working principles 7. be capable of choosing an interesting topic from the content covered in the class, collecting as well as summarizing relevant information, and performing an oral presentation | |
